Actress Taapsee Pannu has opened up about her past obsession with achieving a perfectly flat belly, admitting that she “tortured” herself in pursuit of that goal.
Taking to Instagram, Taapsee shared that she once believed a flat midriff was the ideal beauty standard and pushed herself excessively to achieve it. However, with time, she realized that having a little lower belly fat is completely normal and healthy.
Her candid post struck a chord with many women. Taapsee said she has now accepted her natural body shape and no longer chases unrealistic standards.
The actress currently divides her time between Mumbai and Denmark, where she lives with her husband, former badminton player Mathias Boe. While she was once a leading actress in several Telugu films, she has not signed any Telugu projects in recent years.
