Time for Shruti Hassan to re-invent herself

At time when her latest Telugu film is in theaters, Shruti Hassan is surprisingly drawing flak. This is in sharp contrast to how she was praised for her ‘Gabbar Singh’ act.The 31-year-old actress has to work on her looks. She is not in her elements with those looks. That’s why, negative reviews have visited her.

Shruti badly needs a complete makeover. She is getting good offers in Kollywood and this year, she will be seen in ‘Sabaash Naidu’ with her dad Kamal Haasan.  

Recently, she was offered a huge role in ‘Sangamitra’ (Tamil), one of the costliest films.  She may even give a few surprises by choosing different roles, now that she has crossed 30. She is believed to have plans to expand her horizons in singing and music. The actress was better in her album ‘Unblushed’ than she has ever been in movies.  

But if she has to continue to be counted in films, especially in Telugu and Hindi, Shruti has no other option but to reinvent herself.
