Shraddha Kapoor made her debut in the Telugu film industry with ‘Saaho’ which tanked at the box-office. The film was a huge disaster in the Telugu states. The actress shot to fame with the 2013 blockbuster Bollywood film ‘Aashiqui 2’. She hoped to continue to sign more films in Telugu.
There were even talks of roping her in some of our Tollywood biggies but things have changed after the colossal failure of ‘Saaho’. Tollywood filmmakers have also moved on. Telugu directors are now showing an inclination towards the current hot heroines such as Kiara Advani or Alia Bhatt than signing Shraddha Kapoor.
Alia Bhatt has already signed Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. Kiara Advani is unable to adjust her dates as she’s busy with several Bollywood productions.
