US Premiere: Kathanayakudu beats GPSK

Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’, the first part of NTR Biopic, has taken flying start at USA box-office. The film has almost touched half-million dollars in its premiere shows. The film grossed $473,404 on premiere day.

The film broke the premiere day collections of Balakrishna’s previous blockbuster ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ in USA. Trade pundits predict that it has chances to score huge amount in its lifetime run given the good start.

Directed by Krish, ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ has Vidya Balan as Basavatarakam. The film has received mixed reviews.
