Valimai’s collections drop drastically on the second day

Ajith starrer ‘Valimai’ took terrific openings in Tamilnadu on the first day. The film was released in theaters amidst high expectations and expectedly, the opening numbers were huge. But the film received negative reactions from the very first show. The critics gave thumbs down.

The fans also didn’t like the film, it seems. The collections in Tamilnadu have dropped drastically on the second day itself. In the USA, the film grossed just 178k dollars.

Directed by Vinoth H, ‘Valimai’ made a boring watch due to its predictable premise and narrative. Although the action stunts were impressive, they have failed to save the film. It is evident from the collections on the second day.

The Telugu version is an outright dud in both AP and Telangana. The film took some decent opening on Thursday, but with the arrival of ‘Bheemla Nayak’, it stands no chance.
