Venkatesh slams Vikram Vedha remake reports

Putting an end to speculations, Venkatesh’s brother Suresh Babu has issued a statement about the Vikram Vedha remake.

“There is no truth in reports doing rounds in media that Venkatesh is doing ‘Vikram Vedha’ Telugu remake. He is at present doing ‘Venky Mama.’ The next films will be announced shortly,” Suresh Babu said in a statement.

‘Vikram Vedha’ is a Tamil blockbuster in which Madhavan played cop’s role while Vijay Sethupathi as negative character. The multi-starrer won rave reviews and also became a hit at the box-office. The original Tamil film producers have been trying to remake it in Telugu but they are not able to find right casting.
