Venkatesh wastes a hit director's time

Actor Venkatesh does not court controversies. But he is infamous for some other things. Fake promises! 

Venkatesh promises every director who delivers a moderate hit a chance to work with him. He heard scripts of several directors and gave “room” for “story sittings” at Suresh guest house in Hyderabad.

Many of these films hardly materialize as Venkatesh fails to fulfil his promise or the directors are unable to develop a full fledged script that satisfies Venkatesh. With ‘Nenu Sailaja’, Kishore Tirumala shot to fame. The film was released on 1st Jan 2016. He got offer from Venkatesh after the movie’s success. Venky himself told the media that he is going to act in this director’s movie and he also informed the media that the movie was titled ‘Adallu Meeku Joharlu” and later Nithya Menon also tweeted that she is doing this film.

But now the movie has been dropped off. So a year time of this director has been wasted.

He could have made another movie in this year’s gap as he delivered a hit film with ‘Nenu Sailaja’. He is latest victim, in Venky’s long list of drop out directors.
