National award-winning Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is keeping Balakrishna in waiting. Although she gave her agreement in principle to act as Basavatarakam in NTR’s Biopic, she has not signed on the official document, nor has she taken advance for the movie yet.
Director Teja and actor Balakrishna believe that she adds value to the role of Basavatarakam, wife of late NT Rama Rao. Apart from co-producing, Balakrishna is playing the role of his father himself in this biopic. Vidya Balan reportedly is demanding that all the scenes that are narrated to her should be kept intact in the final cut of the movie and the makers should not turn into a glorified cameo.
NTR Biopic in the direction of Teja was recently launched but its regular shoot will commence from next month. The film is scheduled for Sankranthi 2019 release.
