Despite their previous collaboration “The Family Star” failing at the box office, producer Dil Raju has teamed up once again with Vijay Deverakonda for a new film directed by Ravi Kiran Kola.
The untitled project was officially launched with a pooja ceremony early Saturday morning at Dil Raju’s SVC office in Hyderabad. Producers Allu Aravind and Niranjan Reddy attended as chief guests.
Keerthy Suresh, who plays the female lead, was present alongside Vijay Deverakonda.
Touted to be a rural action drama set in coastal Andhra, the film will feature Vijay speaking in an Andhra dialect, similar to his performance in “Geetha Govindam.” Music is by Malayalam composer Christo Xavier, marking his Telugu debut. The regular filming commences shortly.
