Miffed with the reports that he’d decided to quit films, Vikram has given a clarification saying that the news is baseless. The actor’s PRO sent an official statement from the actor to the media outlets. Vikram in his statement made it clear that he has no plans of bidding good-bye to his acting career.
“We are surprised to find baseless rumors doing the rounds. He is currently working on Cobra, Ponniyin Selvan and another with Seven Screen Studios. Such mischievous reportage, especially at a time when people are already in a state of panic about a global disaster, is irresponsible and reprehensible,” the statement read.
Vikram’s son Dhruv also debuted as a hero in Tamil films. The national-award-winning actor is equally popular in Telugu with dubbed movies like ‘Shiva Putrudu’ and ‘Aparachitudu’.
