Vishal makes controversial remarks on film awards

Actor Vishal has stirred controversy with his blunt take on the value of film awards. He declared that he does not believe in awards of any kind including the prestigious National Film Awards presented by the Government of India.

“I don’t believe in awards. Awards are nonsense. How can eight people decide what eight crore or eighty crore people like? This applies even to national awards,” he said candidly.

When asked if his stance stems from never having received one, Vishal dismissed the notion.

“It’s not because I didn’t get one. I simply don’t believe in the concept. If someone gives me an award, I’ll throw it in the dustbin,” he said.

Vishal, who recently got engaged to actress Dhansika, is currently working on an upcoming action film. His bold remarks have sparked intense discussion among fans and industry insiders alike.
