What is the final status of Ee Nagariniki Emaindi?

‘Ee Nagariniki Emaindi’, the much-publicized second film from Tharun Bhascker, has ended up just an average grosser thanks to its low cost. The film released amidst high expectations as the director’s debut film ‘Pelli Choopulu’ was smash hit and won many awards. Naturally, ‘Ee Nagariniki Emaindi’ has made lot of buzz among the youth audiences but the film didn’t set cash registers ringing.
 
In Hyderabad and other main cities, it did well but in other areas it didn’t find any takers. In overseas too, the film has just reached to break-even point as the film grossed $504k by end of 12 days run.
 
Overall, it might be considered just an average grosser solely as the cost of production was so low. Now it would be interesting to see what kind of movie that Tharun Bhascker would take up.
