Amala Paul’s ‘Aame’ has made a lot of noise before the release thanks to its provocative trailers. The shocking visual of Amala Paul sitting naked in a room became a talking point when the trailer got released. The movie also won good reviews.
However, ‘Aame’ bombed at the box-office. Openings were pretty low and it never picked up in its first week. Tammareddy Bharadwaja, one of the producers for its Telugu dubbed version, blamed it on the Tamil producers. Since the film was not released on 19th as announced earlier due to financial issues, the film lost the momentum said Tammareddy.
It is a lesson he has learnt, he revealed. But Tammareddy is not leaving the matter easy as he has filed a complaint against the Tamil producers in the Film Chamber.
It was Amala Paul who paid her own money to Tamilnadu financiers for the movie’s smooth release.
