‘Yatra 2’ trailer: All about YS Jagan’s political yatra

“Yatra 2,” a sequel to the film “Yatra”, will be released in theaters on February 8. The trailer debuted a week before the film’s release.

While the first part of “Yatra” focused on the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, the second part, as promised in the trailer, would focus on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rise to political prominence and position as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.

The trailer begins by explaining what inspired YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to start the Odarpu Yatra following his father’s death, as well as the conspiracies that occurred behind his back to prevent him from continuing his journey. According to the trailer, the film would portray then-Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi and opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu in a negative light.

Tamil actor Jeeva played YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Directed by Mahi V Raghav, “Yatra 2” follows political events from 2009 until 2019.
