Kartikeya Gummakonda is a promising talent and a rising young actor in Tollywood. Having made name for himself as a hero with films like ‘RX100’, Kartikey Gummakonda has debuted in Tamil. He plays the antagonist in director H Vinoth’s ‘Valimai’ starring Tamil cinema’s top star Ajith Kumar.
The mega budgeted film will hit the screens on February 24 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
“I got this chance in 2019. Director H Vinoth called me to offer this role, and I signed it without thinking. I am thrilled to bag such a huge role,” says Kartikeya.
He also said it was a great experience working with superstar Ajith. “Ajith garu is so down to earth. Though he sustained a deep injury while performing a stunt scene, he continued to shoot without taking a break considering others. He motivated us,” he added.
When asked why the film has not gone for a title in Telugu, he gives a valid reason. “It was because the title became popular across India, so we decided to retain it in other languages as well.”
