Many actors have attempted donning the roles of women in movies as part of the stories. Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi, Rajendra Prasad, and VK Naresh scored success by portraying women’s appearances. However, this trend has paused recently, leaving a void.
“That’s why I decided to work on the film Laila. I wanted to fill the void of males appearing in females’ avatars. The script for Laila arrived at the perfect time, and I believed I could fully embody the role”, Vishwaksen stated.
“Laila,” featuring Vishwaksen, is set for release this Friday (Feb 14).
“I appear both as Sonu Model (male) and Laila (woman) in the film, and the best compliment I received for my appearance as Laila came from megastar Chiranjeevi Garu,” he added.
Talking about his next films, he said he would immediately start working on “Funky,” a comedy entertainer directed by KV Anudeep of “Jathi Ratnaluu” fame.
