Nari Nari Naduma Murari, starring Sharwanand, entered the Sankranthi 2026 race with minimal expectations. It was the last release of the festive season and secured only a limited number of screens. Adding to the muted buzz was the fact that Sharwanand had not delivered a hit in recent years. As a result, the film was largely overlooked during the crowded festival window.
However, the tables turned after release, as the film received positive reviews from critics across the board. The comedy worked well with audiences, and strong word of mouth began to spread in its favour. Despite the dominance of Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganga Oka Raju, Nari Nari Naduma Murari has now started witnessing a noticeable jump in collections.
On Thursday, the film ran to packed houses in whatever limited screens it managed to secure. Interestingly, it also registered a significant jump in North American collections on its first day, indicating growing overseas interest.
With the momentum building, “Nari Nari Naduma Murari” is expected to perform even better in the coming days. Directed by Ram Abbaraju and produced by AK Entertainments, the film features Samyuktha and Sakshi Vaidya as the female leads. VK Naresh’s comedy has emerged as a major highlight. For Sharwanand, the film comes as a much-needed relief and is firmly on track to end up as a success.
