Day 1 Collections: Solo Brathuke So Better takes a flying start

The theatrical business has restarted. Sai Tej starrer ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ is the first major Telugu film to hit the cinema screens since theaters reopened.

Released on December 25 in Telugu states, the film took a flying start at the box-office. The film got limited screens in the USA and Australia.

In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the film has collected a gross of Rs 4.7 crore. The India total is about Rs 5.1 crore. This is a terrific start, considering the COVID19 situation.

Interestingly, the Sai Tej and Nabha Natesh starrer collected Rs 14 lakhs in Australia on its first day. It grossed $25,672 (Aus dollars) from 18 locations in Australia.

‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ is directed by newcomer Subbu and produced by BVSN Prasad. The film received mixed reviews from critics.
