US Pre-Sales Update: The North American box office is gearing up for an interesting clash as “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” and “Dhurandhar 2” prepare for their premiere shows on March 18.
Starring Pawan Kalyan, “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” is arriving as a major Telugu release and is expected to open big among the overseas Telugu audience. Meanwhile, the Hindi film “Dhurandhar 2,” featuring Ranveer Singh, is the second installment in a successful franchise and is riding on strong hype.
Both films have begun registering solid numbers in advance bookings across North America for the premiere shows.
While “Dhurandhar 2” currently appears to be leading due to the franchise factor and nationwide buzz, “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” is also putting up an impressive performance in pre-sales, particularly in locations with a strong Telugu diaspora.
With a few more days left for the premieres, trade observers expect the booking momentum to grow further for both films.
