Court grants divorce to Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya
Actress Hansika Motwani and her husband, businessman Sohael Khaturiya, have officially ended their marriage. A family court in Bandra, Mumbai, recently granted the couple a divorce, bringing their relationship to a legal close.
Hansika Motwani married Sohael Khaturiya in a grand ceremony in December 2022. Over the past year, there had been several rumors circulating about trouble in their marriage, but the actress chose not to respond publicly to the speculation.
According to reports, the couple filed for divorce through mutual consent. Hansika is said to have decided not to seek any alimony as part of the settlement.
During the court proceedings, Hansika was represented by advocate Adnan Shaikh. He reportedly told the court that the couple stayed together only for a short period after their wedding before realizing that they had fundamental differences.
The divorce petition reportedly stated that even small disagreements often escalated into arguments, making it difficult for them to continue living together. Eventually, they mutually agreed that separation would be the best decision for both.
The couple did not have any children during their marriage.
