Mythri Movie Makers lines up trending directors

Leading production house Mythri Movie Makers is heavily investing in directors rather than the stars. The production house has realized that if they have ‘hot shot’ directors in their kitty, it would be easy to get the ‘dates’ of stars. The production house shot to fame by backing Koratala Siva and later joined hands with Sukumar. 

Now, it is producing series of movies with trending and upcoming directors. Parasuram, Harish Shankar, Gopichand Malineni, Prashanth Neel, Lokesh Kanagaraju, Venky Kudumula, and Shiva Nirvana are the new trending directors that are going to make their next films for this production house. The camp’s regular filmmakers are Sukumar, Koratala Siva, and ‘Uppena’ Buchi Babu.

Sukumar is currently directing two-part ‘Pushpa’ on a massive scale. Parasuram is already directing ‘Sakaru Vaari Paata’ that stars Mahesh Babu. Harish Shankar has come into their fold to direct Pawan Kalyan, and Gopichand Malineni is another trending director that will be working for this production house to make a film with Nandamuri Balakrishna (#NBK107).

Prashanth Neel, the current hotshot director in South India, will also be directing NTR’s 31st movie next year. These projects are in place. 

Directors like ‘Master’ fame Lokesh Kanagaraju, Venky Kudumula, and Shiva Nirvana have already taken hefty advance payments from the production house to make their next movies. Lokesh Kanagaraju is expected to announce his next film for the production house after completing his two commitments – Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ and Thalapathy Vijay’s movie. 

Venky Kudumula and Varun Tej are likely to team up but this has not yet officially been finalized. Shiva Nirvana is planning to direct Vijay Deverakonda for the production house.
