Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited big-budgeted multi-lingual movie ‘83’, which is a biopic of Kapil Dev, is the latest movie to shift its release date because of the coronavirus pandemic. The movie was slated to hit theaters on April 10 but has now been postponed indefinitely. No new release date has announced yet.
“83 is not just our film but the entire nation’s film. But the health and safety of the nation always comes first. Stay safe, take care. We shall be back soon!” the actor said.
Kapil Dev’s role in this movie that chronicles the preceding events leading to India’s first cricket world cup win in 1983.
Directed by Kabir Khan, 83 is produced by Deepika Padukone, the film’s Telugu version is being presented by Akkineni Nagarjuna. Vishnu Induri is one of the producers.
