‘Adipurush,’ a new retelling of the epic Ramayana starring Prabhas, is set to open in theatres around the world on June 16. However, before it hits theatres, the epic drama will have its world premiere at New York’s prestigious Tribeca Film Festival.
On June 13, the film will be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. The Tribeca Film Festival lineup has been announced. Adipurush, which has been described as a visual feast, will be shown in 3D format as a “Midnight Offering” at the festival.
“I am honoured that Adipurush will have its World Premiere at The Tribeca Festival in New York,” said actor Prabhas. “It’s an honour to be a part of a project that reflects the ethos of our country.”
Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh play pivotal roles in “Adipurush,” which is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T Series.
