After Arya, Sukumar doing it for Ram Charan

We all know that Ram Charan will be seen in a love story to be directed by Sukumar. Our sources informed us that it is not going to be simple romantic drama. It has novelty too, a love story that hasn’t been told on Telugu screen. It has some unusual characterisation of the hero. After long time, Sukumar himself has written the story. 

The leading director debuted with ‘Arya’ in 2004. While he wrote the story and screenplay for his debut movie, he later started taking scripts from other writers. ‘Jagadam’, ‘Arya 2’, ‘100 % Love’, ‘1 Nenokkadine’, ‘Nannaku Prematho’… all these movies he has directed are written by various writers along with Sukumar’s screenplay. But for Charan’s movie, the director himself wrote the story and screenplay.

So it will be as fresh as his ‘Arya’ was, says an excited unit member. In the film, Ram Charan will be playing a guy in rural village. He falls for a girl. Then a twist happens. Entire story is set in the late 80’s and early 90’s. The film is expected to go the sets in January. 

Rathnavelu and Devi Sri Prasad will be on board as cinematographer and music director respectively. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film. Heroine for the movie has not yet been finalised.
