Director Boyapati Srinu is leaving no stone unturned to make ‘Akhanda’ a blockbuster. He needs to deliver a hit as his previous attempt was a dud.
To raise his brand quotient as a director of mass entertainers, Boyapati has no option but to give his best. Buoyed by the massive response to the dialogue teaser and the film’s title announcement teaser, he is filming on a lavish scale.
Looks like he has focused more on the action part this time. The fight master Stun Shiva says they had canned the fight sequences for more than 80 days for this movie. Barring ‘Baahubali’ movies, no Telugu film shot for 80 days for action stunts.
“Akhanda is wrapped… the whole unit was a family…the interval, pre climax, and climax along with other action sequences which we shot were 80+ days,” stun shiva wrote on his social media page.
‘Akhanda’ stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a dual role. Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna are the leading ladies. Jagapathi Babu and Srikantha are playing negative roles. Thaman is scoring the music.
Produced by Miriyala Ravinder Reddy, ‘Akhanda’ is scheduled to hit the screens shortly.
