The film did a whopping Rs 50 crore theatrical business before the release. It is the highest business in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s career. The satellite, digital and other revenues will also fetch big money to the producer.
Mounted on a big scale, ‘Akhanda’ is an out-and-out mass entertainer. Balakrishna plays a dual role. The role of ‘Aghora’ is crucial to the movie. ‘Akhanda’ marks the third film in Balakrishna and Boyapati’s combination. Miryala Ravinder Reddy has produced the film.
