Since she made an appeal to Telangana IT Minister KTR to give relaxation from lockdown to the persons who need to work to pay EMI’s and rents, Anasuya received heavy trolling. People slammed her for the insensitive tweet and irresponsible appeal. However, she later claimed that online followers construed her tweet in the wrong way. She said she meant it for the larger public, not for her.
However, the barrage of trolling didn’t stop. So, she tweeted that she’s now a victim of online abuse. She even pointed out a sample of abusive tweets that have crossed the limit of decency. Some people vented out their frustration at her tweet in an indecent manner with abusive language. Anasuya then tagged that tweet Cyber Crime Police of Hyderabad to take action on them and the police had asked her to file a written complaint.
Will Anasuya now approach cyber police and lodge complaints or ignore? This is not the first time that she faced online abuse. But this time, it seems she deliberately prolonged the issue online.
