Annu Kapoor says he would touch Tamannaah’s feet to apologise

Tamannaah Bhatia is once again in the spotlight after a past remark about her appearance resurfaced, sparking fresh online debate.

The comment – kya dudhiya badan hai (what milky body she has) – was originally made by veteran actor Annu Kapoor during a discussion about the song Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2. At the time, his choice of words drew criticism, with many calling it inappropriate.

Addressing the controversy, Annu Kapoor clarified that he had no intention to offend and that his remark was meant as a compliment. He explained that if he had used the phrase in English, it might not have triggered such reactions, suggesting that the backlash was influenced by how the expression was perceived in Hindi.

He further stated that while he stands by his intent, he is willing to apologise if Tamannaah felt uncomfortable. He added that he would even touch her feet to seek forgiveness if necessary.
Kapoor also mentioned that Tamannaah is like a daughter to him, noting that she belongs to the same age group as his own children.
