Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Lenin’ likely to shift release again

Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film “Lenin” is once again facing uncertainty over its release date.

The project, which has been in the making for over a year, has already gone through multiple delays. Initially planned for a May 1 release, the makers postponed it to avoid a clash with “Peddi.” They later locked June 26 as the new date and even kickstarted promotions by releasing songs.

However, the situation has changed yet again. Recent developments indicate that “Peddi” has now finalized June 25 as its release date. With just a one-day gap between the two films, it appears unlikely that “Lenin” will stick to June 26.

Given the circumstances, the team is expected to reschedule the release once more and make an official announcement soon.

“Lenin” features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead and is directed by Kishore Abbur. The film is backed by Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naga Vamsi, with music composed by Thaman S.
