His maiden Bollywood film, Laal Singh Chaddha, starring superstar Aamir Khan in the lead role, was released to a tepid response. The film is struggling to lure audiences to the theaters. On the first day, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ garnered mere Rs 12 Cr nett in India. The second-day gross is even lower than that (about Rs 7 Cr).
As things stand today, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is likely to be a disaster.
For Naga Chaitanya, it is a bad start in Bollywood. Though he won decent reviews for his acting, the box office result is negative.
