The casting of the lead female role in the upcoming sequel to the hit film “DJ Tillu” is turning out to be difficult for the makers. When Sreeleela refused to sign the film, the producers signed Anupama Parameswaran. Anupama Parameswaran spent a week on set as well.
However, she decided to leave the film because of issues she was having with the film’s main hero, Siddhu Jonnalagadda.
The production team also tried to recruit Meenakshii Chaudhary and other actresses, but without success.
The producers reportedly plan to contact Anupama once more in an effort to keep her in the role. Word on the street is that she’s agreed to come back. Later this month, assuming all goes well, she will resume filming.
Let’s see how things play out first. The film’s protagonist, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, is also serving as the film’s uncredited “ghost director,” and his over involvement is to blame for everything that’s gone wrong.
