Baahubali 2 targets PK records?

Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2’ is all set to hit the screens this April 28th. The film has been sold to various distributors for record amount for all the versions. As per the trade buzz, the producers have made a pre-release business to the tune of whopping Rs 500 Cr worldwide (Rs 380 Cr theatrical business + Rs 120 Cr satellite rights).

So, the movie needs to collect more than Rs 500 Cr from theaters to be declared as a blockbuster. But the team of ‘Baahubali 2’ is actually targeting to break the record of Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ that collected Rs 792 Cr worldwide. Aamir Khan’s movie currently holds the record of being all-time India’s highest grosser. ‘Baahubali 2’ is targeting to become the number one movie.

On the other hand, the team is now gearing up to go for censor clearance next week. Currently post-production work is being done.
