Babu Bangaram: first weekend collections

The expectations surrounding the Venkatesh and Maruthi combo were high. Given this, it was a challenge for the makers of ‘Babu Bangaram’ to live up to them.  From what we learn from figures and facts, they have successfully passed the test.

The Venky-Nayanatara starrer ‘Babu Bangaram’ is raking in phenomenal business across alls centers and especially so in the Telugu States.  The collections have been put at Rs. 15 cr share (worldwide). The Rs 15 Cr share also includes the Tamil version and Rest of India collections.  

Already, the fact that this is the biggest opening in Venky’s career as a solo hero is making news big-time. The comedy quotient, presence of Venky and music all gone into making this movie a BO hit. ‘Babu Bangaram’ starred Nayanathara as heroine and the movie was produced by Naga Vamsi and PDV Prasad on Sithara Entertainments banner.
