Even as speculations about the release date for “Akhanda 2: Thaandavam” swirl, the team is racing ahead with post-production work. Although the makers have announced September 25, 2025, as the release date, doubts still linger.
Today, the team released a press statement confirming that Nandamuri Balakrishna, the film’s lead, has completed his dubbing. The makers have reiterated that “Akhanda 2: Thaandavam” will hit the big screens on September 25.
“The CG work, re-recording, and other processes are happening simultaneously. All pending tasks will be completed by the end of this month, and the first copy will be ready within three weeks,” the production team said.
Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu have previously delivered three hits together, and this marks their fourth collaboration. Akhanda released in 2021, and the sequel, Akhanda: Thaandavam, is now gearing up for release.
Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, “Akhanda 2” is presented by Balakrishna’s daughter, M. Tejaswini Nandamuri.
