Balakrishna's house to be dismantled?

Road-widening affects many people, but when a super celebrity is affected, it grabs eyeballs for obvious reasons.  The star in question is none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna, himself a legislator from Andhra Pradesh.

The news is that Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is likely to issue notice to Balayya, asking him to make way for a long flyover to be built under the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP). Apparently, his Jubilee Hills residence will have to be bulldozed if the flyover is to be built without hiccups.

The proposal is, thus, causing headache to Balayya. It has to be seen if he will end up losing the entire residence or only the frontier portions. If there is an alternative, he will definitely use his goodwill with the Chief Minister of Telangana to minimize the damage. At least outwardly, the TDP MLA and KCR get along well. KCR was one of the chief guests at the launch of ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’. Last year, he called on the T CM urging him to fast-track permissions with respect to his cancer hospital.

All said, it may not be a smooth ride for the Hindupur representative.
