Bandla Ganesh seeking MLC ticket

Comedian turned politician Bandla Ganesh got raw deal during the Telangana elections. The actor who joined Congress party last year became darling of the media as he went ballistic in attacking KCR and ruling TRS government. The media wanted some celebrity face to criticize KCR and Bandla Ganesh who doesn’t know ABCD of Telangana politics seemed right guy. With his ‘comic’ acts, he provided enough masala for the section of’ media that used all its tricks to project as Maha Kutami (Congress+TDP) as the winner.

But KCR came back to power and media stopped projecting him on their channels. He is now being treated as comic relief in Telangana political circles.

Bandla Ganesh is now one of the many aspirants for MLC seat from congress party. The MLC polls will be held next month; congress is unlikely to win a single seat given the party lacks enough strength of 21 MLAs required to clinch one MLC seat. The party has just 19 MLAs. For this unwinnable seat, Bandla Ganesh is in the fray.
