After controversy erupted over a skit in the recently telecasted ‘Jabardasth’ program, comedian Hyper Aadi says he is ready to offer apologies. A case has been filed against him Telangana Jagruthi Students Federation for demeaning the Bathukamma festival.
The organization sought to take action against the actor Aadi who performed the skit and also the scriptwriter and the producers of the show.
Mallemala TV Productions, which produces the show, is yet to respond but Aadi said he is ready to offer apologies. He made this statement in a phone conversation with the representatives of the organization who filed a case against him.
However, the organization demands that he should come out to the public form and apologize.
This is not the first time that the Jabardasth program making derogatory comments on cultures, women, and transgender persons. The program is infamous for cheap and vulgar comedy.
