“Bharateeyudu” was a sensation in the South Indian film industry when it was released in 1996. The film starring Kamal Haasan as the titular character was such an important milestone in director Shankar’s career. The sequels titled “Bharateeyudu 2” and “Indian 2” are now set to be released shortly.
Ahead of Kamal Haasan’s birthday (November 7), the makers today unveiled an introduction to this film. Rajamouli released it on social media.
The intro video introduces Kamal Haasan’s latest Senapathi avatar, and a song about the current corruptive system goes on.
The intro song also introduces other characters, like Rakul Preet Singh and Siddharth. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the film.
