‘Bheemla Nayak’ is the first biggie that features an A-list star to hit the theaters in 2022. The film is carrying high expectations. Since it is Pawan Kalyan’s movie, buyers have paid huge amounts to secure the distribution rights.
‘Bheemla Nayak’ theatrical business is pegged at Rs 105 crore. Although the Andhra Pradesh government has not allowed hiked ticket prices and refused to permit benefit shows, the distributors have bought the film for high amounts.
Dil Raju has bought the film’s rights for Telangana for Rs 30 crore. The coastal Andhra buyers paid Rs 38 crore, while the Rayalaseema region fetched another Rs 17 crore. From Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the film did Rs 85 crore theatrical business.
Karnataka, overseas, and the rest of India have together fetched another Rs 20 crore. So, ‘Bheemla Nayak’ needs to collect more than 110 crores to reach the break-even stage in theaters.
The producers made huge profits as it brought big money from satellite, digital, and Hindi dubbing rights.
‘Bheemla Nayak’ hits the theaters on Feb 25 worldwide. Directed by Saagar Chandra, the film stars Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati. Naga Vamsi has produced it.
