‘Bholaa Shankar’ yet to gain steam in advance sales in USA

Chiranjeevi has a huge fan base in the United States as well. In the United States, the majority of his recent films grossed more than $2 million dollars. Despite receiving poor reviews, “Waltair Veerayya,” which was released in January of this year, grossed more than $2 million.

So there are high expectations for his upcoming film, Bholaa Shankar, which will be released in theaters on August 11. However, the film will be released in the United States on August 10th.

Given his recent success, one would expect this film to have a strong opening for premiere shows. So far, the trend of early bookings has not been encouraging. It has yet to gain traction.

While Rajinikanth’s “Jailer” has already made $300k from early advance sales, “Bholaa Shankar” has yet to break the $100k mark.

“Bholaa Shankar” is directed by Meher Ramesh and stars Tamannaah Bhatia. In this drama about a brother and sister, Keerthy Suresh plays Chiranjeevi’s sister.
