Bhumika Chawla marks her return to Telugu cinema after a brief gap with director Gunasekhar’s “Euphoria,” which is set to hit screens tomorrow, February 6, 2026. She plays one of the pivotal roles in the film.
Speaking about the project, director Gunasekhar revealed that “Euphoria” was inspired by a real-life incident that occurred in Hyderabad. However, as he began researching and developing the script, he realized that similar incidents had taken place in several major cities across the world, making the film’s core theme universal.
Bhumika previously collaborated with Gunasekhar as the leading lady in his landmark 2003 film Okkadu. Reflecting on Euphoria, she feels the film is even more emotionally intense.
“The story and my character inspired me to portray intense emotions. Every character is relatable, and the film makes you think long after it ends,” Bhumika said.
The film also features Sara Arjun in a prominent role.
