One of the more surprising rumors currently doing the rounds in Film Nagar is that actress Honey Rose has reportedly opted out of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film after initially agreeing to be part of it.
The speculation has raised eyebrows, given that Honey Rose is not a regular face in Telugu cinema and opportunities to share screen space with Chiranjeevi are generally considered highly sought-after. According to industry buzz, she was signed for a key role, though not the primary female lead, in the film directed by Bobby.
The film’s shoot is already underway, with Chiranjeevi and actress Anaswara Rajan, who is said to be playing his daughter, currently participating in the schedule.
Honey Rose, who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry, made her Telugu debut opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in the hit film “Veera Simha Reddy”. That remains her only Telugu film to date. Hence, when the opportunity to act in a Chiranjeevi-starrer reportedly came her way, she is said to have readily accepted it.
However, the latest gossip suggests that she has since backed out of the project for reasons best known to her. Sources claim that she was neither called for the ongoing shoot nor had she travelled to Hyderabad for the film. It is being reported that she eventually declined to continue with the project, citing personal reasons.
Neither the actress nor the film’s team has officially commented on the speculation so far.
