Bollywood cinematographers for Tollywood movies!

Roping in technicians from Bollywood or Hollywood has become in thing for our Telugu film industry. While three upcoming movies will have Hollywood action choreographers or makeup artistes, four other big movies are having Bollywood cinematographers.

NTR – Bobby movie: The movie has commenced its regular shoot but NTR has not joined the shoot. For this film, they have roped in top Bollywood cinematographer CK Muraleedharan of “3 Idiots” and “PK” fame. He will be getting bigger remuneration than he is paid in Bollywood. In this movie, NTR will be appearing in three different getups. For this, they brought in Hollywood technician Vance Hartwell for makeup. 

Pawan Kalyan: Trivikram movie: India’s top most cinematographer V Manikandan who helmed films like Manirathnam’s ‘Raavan’, Shankar’s ‘Aparachitudu’ and Bollywood blockbusters like ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Main Hoon Naa’ is working as Director of Photography for this movie.

DJ Duvvada Jagannadham: Ayananka Bose who worked for Salman khan’s Kick (2014) and Karan Johar’s Student of the Year (2012) and Hrithik Roshan’s Kites (2010) is working for Harish Shankar’s ‘DJ’. 

Mahesh Babu-Koratala movie: Ravi K Chandran, the great lensman behind Bollywood super hits like ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘My Name is Khan’ will be handling the camera for this movie. He likes Mahesh Babu and agreed to be part of this big entertainer. 

Mahesh Babu-Murugadoss movie: Santosh Sivan, considered as one of India’s all-time greatest cameramen, is making debut in Telugu with this movie.
