Superstar Rajinikanth, who was admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on Thursday following giddiness, is recovering well. The hospital has released a health bulletin giving more clarity about his status.
The 70-year-old is said to be recovering well after artery procedure, the hospital statement read.
“He was thoroughly evaluated by the expert panel of doctors and was advised to undergo carotid artery revascularization,” the hospital said.
Rajinikanth will continue to be treated hospital. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital after a few days. Rajinikanth may not attend any of the promotions of his upcoming release, ‘Peddhanna’ (‘Annatthe’ in Tamil’), which is scheduled to hit the screens on November 4.
