‘Chandramukhi 2’ gets postponed

The September 15th release date for “Chandramukhi 2” has been pushed back. There will be no release of the film on that date. Post-production issues have forced the team to push back the release date from September 15th.

Lead roles in “Chandramukhi 2” are played by Raghava Lawerence and Kangana Ranaut. The film, directed by P Vasu, is a follow-up to the blockbuster “Chandramukhi” (2005), that starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika.

The film’s recently released trailer was met with lukewarm reception. It smacked of dated narration.

Since the schedule is already full of several high-profile films, “Chandramukhi 2” will have a hard time finding a fresh release date before the Dasara holidays.
