Director VV Vinayak and actor Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas are collaborating for the second time. Their new film is to be made in Hindi, which marks their debut in Bollywood.
The film is the Hindi remake of Rajamouli’s 2004 blockbuster ‘Chatrapathi’. Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story for the original is working on this Hindi version as well.
Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios is bankrolling the project.
The makers have erected a massive village set in Hyderabad by art director Sunil Babu, where the film begins its regular shoot on Friday. A grand launch ceremony is also planned.
