Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas had announced his Bollywood debut two months ago. The film was to begin the regular shoot in April but it has now been put on hold.
Bellamkonda’s maiden Hindi film is planned as the remake of Telugu super hit, Chatrapathi. Vinayak rewrote the script with the help of Hindi writers to suit the current trends and the tastes of the Bollywood audiences. Pen India’s Jayantilal Gadha is bankrolling this film. But now all the pre-production work has been put on hold.
The makers say it has not been shelved but halted due to the pandemic situation. But strong buzz is that the film is facing several other issues as well.

Meanwhile, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas also recently gave his nod to the remake of Tamil hit ‘Karnan’. He is now scouting a suitable director for this remake.
