Megastar Chiranjeevi has joined the shoot of ‘Acharya’ that is being directed by Koratala Siva. The film’s shoot is underway at a specially erected village set at a private land off Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad.
The team claims the set is erected at the cost of Rs 20 crore. Suresh Selvaraj is the art director for this set.
Currently, action sequences are being filmed and Chiranjeevi is participating in them. Kajal Aggarwal who plays the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi will join the team shortly.
Chiranjeevi kept himself away from the shooting part from March to November due to the coronavirus pandemic. Director Koratala Siva is determined to wrap the shoot by April 2021 and release it for the summer holidays.
The film is produced by Niranjan Reddy. Ram Charan plays an extended guest role.
