A new Telugu psychological thriller titled “Don’t Sleep,” has now grabbed attention with its intriguing first look. Actor Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the title and poster of the film.
Directed by cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Shamdat, this marks his Telugu directorial debut after helming the Malayalam–Tamil bilingual “Street Lights.”
Shamdat is famous for handling camerawork for many Telugu blockbusters like Thandel, Virupaksha, Uppena, and Prasthanam.
“Don’t Sleep” stars Indhra Raam in the lead role. The film is produced by V Chudamani under the V Dream Films banner.
The first-look poster sets a haunting tone. It features Ravindra Vijay chasing Indhra Raam through snow-covered mountains with a gun, while in the foreground, the protagonist appears with closed eyes and a bandaged forehead. The imagery hints at trauma, blurred reality, and a tense psychological conflict. The tagline, “The longer you sleep, the closer he gets,” adds to the eerie intrigue.
The makers have announced that the film will hit theatres soon.
