Clarity emerges about Sir and Vaarasudu

The makers of Dhanush’s ‘Sir’ and Vijay’s ‘Vaarasudu’ so far have been claiming they are Telugu films. Until now, the makers said Dhanush and Thalapathy Vijay are making their entry into Telugu films with these movies.

But now, the tune has changed. The same makers say they are not straight Telugu projects. They are Tamil movies, being made bilingual. The shootings of Vijay’s “Varisu”/“Vaarasudu’ and Dhanush’s “Sir”/“Vaathi” are progressing in Vizag and Hyderabad respectively.

As per the decision taken by Film Chamber and Active Producers Guild, no film should continue shooting from August 1st. When questioned about the continuation of shooting of these projects, producers Dil Raju and Naga Vamsi are saying that they are Tamil movies, not Telugu projects.

‘Varau’ is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and stars Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine. ‘Vaathi’ stars Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon. Venky Atluri directs it.
